1. Senso-ji Temple (浅草寺)
Tokyo’s oldest and most iconic temple, Senso-ji is located in Asakusa, a culturally rich neighborhood that embodies the city’s traditional downtown charm.

2. Meiji Shrine (明治神宮)
A Shinto shrine dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken. The shrine spans 170 acre of tranquil forest in the heart of Tokyo’s Shibuya Ward

3. Shinjuku Gyoen (新宿御苑)
An urban escape, Shinjuku Gyoen combines Japanese, English and French garden styles across beautifully landscaped grounds.

4. Tokyo Skytree and Solamachi
(東京スカイツリー、ソラマチ)
A soaring broadcast tower and landmark offering breathtaking city views, shopping and dining from its towering observation decks.

5. Tokyo Art Aquarium and Ginza District (アートアクアリウム美術館)
A captivating exhibition where thousands of goldfish glide through glowing art installations, blending traditional Japan with modern light and sound.

6. Shibuya Sky (渋谷 Sky)

7. Toyosu Fish Market & Senkyaku Banrai
(豊洲市場 千客万来)
A large fish market that opened in 2018 and replaced Tsukiji. Toyosu Senkyaku Banrai is a facility that offers a modern, Edo-style food and shopping village of 70 stores and eateries.

8. Kamakura (鎌倉)
Once the capital of Japan in 12th century, Kamakura is 30 minutes from Yokohama by train.
The city is famous for the Great Buddha, serene temples and scenic hiking trails, offering a blend of cultural heritage and natural beauty. If you choose to visit Kamakura, plan to spend the full day there instead of visiting Tokyo.
